GRANDPARENT WORKSHOP

Leaving a Legacy of Joy
Sunday, February 11
11AM-12PM • Chapel
  • Do you desire that joy and laughter in your family be a part of your spiritual legacy?
  • Do you tend to perpetuate the perception of perfection with your grandchildren?
  • With all of the serious issues occurring in our world, could you use a reminder how our laughter brings joy to our Heavenly Father?

Get ready to laugh one moment and cry the next as we listen to Ken Davis address these and other questions in a powerful message on “Leaving a Legacy of Joy!” Ken is an award-winning author, motivational speaker and the daily voice of the “Lighten Up” radio show. As founder and President of Dynamic Communicators International, he teaches the art and business of public speaking to ministry professionals and corporate executives all over the world. This talk delivered at Legacy Coalition’s national grandparenting conference inspired thousands of Christian grandparents in their journey to have a greater influence in the lives of their grandchildren.

What to expect from this workshop:

  • Fellowship with our Valley grandparent community.
  • Learn the “Three Legacies to Leave for your Grandchildren!”
  • Explore practical next steps in small groups to incorporate joy into your family legacy.

How to Share Your Faith in the 21st Century

By Events
Sunday, January 23 from 11 am - Noon
Valley Community Center

We all want to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with our world. But some of us aren’t sure where to start, or how we should make connections in the first place with people who are explorers, skeptics, or doubters… or just unfamiliar with Christianity and the church.

Check out our great one-hour workshop where we explore how we can share our faith in the shifting cultural climate. Participants will walk away with strategies and next steps rooted in community, accountability and ongoing love and support. We hope to see you there!
