SUMMARY:The Parenting Summit
DESCRIPTION:Valley Church Chapel\nNo registration required; just show up!\n\nThe Parenting Summit – Insights every parent wishes they had sooner. 10 pages from the parenting playbook nobody gave you \nOne day you just became a parent\, and suddenly you were figuring it out on the fly. What if someone handed you 10 insights that could change the way you connect with your kids\, lead them with confidence\, and launch them into the world? \nTaught by Pastor Brandon Early\, this isn’t a full course or an A-to-Z manual\, but it is 10 practical truths most parents only stumble on by accident. Think of it as the pages you wish were slipped into your hand on day one. Come ready to laugh\, learn\, and leave with tools you’ll start using right away.

Each gathering is designed to strengthen\, refresh\, and rekindle the connection between you and your spouse. \nWe’ll begin on September 11\, 2025\, with “Cracking the Code of Connection”\, learning to truly understand and engage with one another. Then\, on November 13\, we’ll embrace the healing and hope in “Kiss and Make Up”. As winter deepens\, we’ll turn up the warmth on February 7\, 2026\, with “Some Like It Hot”\, exploring intimacy and passion in a Christ-centered way. Finally\, in April 9\, 2026\, couples will be invited to renew and rededicate their marriage through a Signing of a New Marriage Covenant—a symbolic\, spiritual\, and deeply personal commitment to love that lasts. \nWhether your marriage is thriving or needs a fresh start\, this series will give you practical tools and biblical wisdom to write your next chapter—together. \nValley is offering an optional small group study that will dive into the book 6 Secrets to a Lasting Love. The small groups will be available for 6 week sessions. The first session will start the week of September 14. SUMMARY:Learning to Listen When God Speaks Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Valley Church Rm 109\nNo Registration Required\nThis Workshop is open to both men and women—we’d love to have you join us as we grow in faith and community together.\n\nOur God is a God who speaks. He spoke to create us\, and He speaks to reveal himself to us. He speaks to us through the Bible. Everything we need to grow in our knowledge of Him and in our relationship with Him is found in the 66 books of the Bible.  Listening when God speaks is one of the primary ways we grow spiritually. This is a challenging task\, but a skill that can be learned. Whether you are a new or experienced Bible student\, this interactive workshop will introduce or review basic principles of study. In our ninety minutes together\, we will practice using a few simple questions to learn from one Bible chapter. These will further equip you in a lifelong pursuit of growth by listening to God through his word both personally and in community.  \nPresenter: Becky Staab from Valley Women’s Ministry Leadership Team
