What is Worship Like at Valley?
Get ready for smiling faces and a warm welcome! During our worship services, you can count on a biblically-based message from one of our pastors and uplifting songs by our worship team.
Frequently Asked Questions
Worship Services
What should I bring?
If you would like to bring a Bible, it can be helpful for following along, but it is not required! If you don’t have a Bible of your own, see our Guest Services desk in the atrium to get your hands on one.
What should I wear?
You’ll see a diversity of clothing at any given Sunday worship service. There is no dress code, so come as you are and wear what is comfortable for you.
What can I expect at a worship service?
Our worship services feature powerful songs inspired by Scripture, along with time for prayer and important announcements. Each worship service features teaching from one of our pastors and lasts about an hour and 15 minutes.
Children’s Ministry
What programs do you have for my kids?
Valley Church offers nursery and children’s ministry—“Sunday school”—at 8:15, 9:30, and 11 am for infants through 5th graders. Middle schoolers have the opportunity to meet on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. High school students gather on Sunday nights.
What security policies do you have in place to keep my kids safe?
Your child’s safety matters to us. All our volunteers and staff have gone through background checks, so you can feel confident in who you leave your child with. We also have a secure check-in system in place. When you check your child in, you will receive a parent tag that has a matching number that goes with your child’s tag. We match these as children are picked up, so everyone leaves with the person they should.
Can my child join me for worship?
Of course! Your child is more than welcome to stay with you during the worship service. If you need to step out, we have a fidget room, family room, and corner cafe, including rocking chairs, toys, and TVs that livestream the service.
