Middle School – Silence & Solitude Day

• 6th – 8th graders are invited to join
• Bring your own lunch and a paper copy of the Bible
• Drop off and pick up at Raccoon River Park picnic shelter area (east of the playground)
• No RSVP required; just show up

Come join us for a day of quiet reflection in God’s creation. We will do a variety of prayer and journaling activities to connect with God in a slow, Spirit-filled way. Wear close-toed shoes and prepare to walk the entire 3.1-mile loop that goes around the lake! We hope you can join us! Here is the rough schedule:

• 11:00-11:15     Welcome
• 11:15-12:15      3.1 mile prayer walk around the lake
• 12:15-1:00      Lunch and play at the park
• 1:00-1:30       Bible-reading (an entire book of the Bible!)
• 1:30-2:00      Guided Christian reflection exercise and debrief
• 2:00                Dismiss
