Spring Bible Study

Proverbs: The Ways of Wisdom II

“Proverbs touch on all the main issues in life. …If we read by faith, they will also remind us of Jesus Christ, who is the true wisdom of God.” Philip Graham Ryken

The book of Proverbs is part of the wisdom literature of the Old Testament. Wisdom can be defined as “skill in living.” Join us for this seven-week study as we learn practical truth from Proverbs about friendship, marriage and family, prosperity and planning. Each week we will also ask the question: where do we see Jesus in Proverbs?

Note: This study is the second half of a study we began in 2022. However, each week addresses a stand-alone topic, so please join us even if you didn’t do the first half.
If you were in the first half, we will continue to use the same book. If you are joining now, you will need to purchase the book.

Women's Ministry Mentoring

Applications accepted during the month of July

Are you a woman who desires to grow in faith? Are you teachable and eager to learn from a more experienced follower of Christ? Then take a look at Valley Mentoring!

A mentor is someone with a little more experience who comes alongside another and points her to Jesus. We would love to line YOU up with a Valley Church mentor. Mentors and mentees meet every two to three weeks from October through April. Your mentor is here to love, listen, encourage, and pray with you.

Here is what one of the mentees shared about her experience.
“I feel I have a new friend in my mentor. I know I could come to her with any question, concern or prayer request, and she would be there for me. She has also been very open as she has walked through preparing to send a son to college this fall, and transitioning family members from living at home to assisted living. It has been beneficial to watch her navigate the processes as I believe both will be in my future.”

PLEASE NOTE: We do ask that mentors and mentees be attenders of Valley Church.

If you have any questions call Amy Natzke at 226-9973 or email to amyn@valley-church.com.

MOPS has given me a great opportunity to build relationships with other moms in the same season of life. Together we’re able to navigate young motherhood, marriage, and following Jesus in a fun setting.

Valley Women’s Ministry has provided me great opportunities to connect, grow and lead. My second week at Valley, I was invited to a Bible Study and out of that study came many of my best friends!

When we do Bible study together, the layering of shared life experiences and practical application that my sisters in Christ bring to the table enriches my perspective and understanding. It strengthens and encourages my faith.

Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS)

9:30-11:30 am · Two Fridays per month

September 15, 2023 – May 10, 2024

We believe that it’s just as important for moms to grow as it is to take care of our little ones. Therefore, MOPS exists to serve you and your kids. While your children play and learn in the care and safety of our on-site MOPS KIDS program, MOPS moms meet to socialize, hear from speakers, engage in creative activities and small group discussion, and share in a kid-uninterrupted breakfast and coffee break. Our hope is that you walk away refreshed, inspired, connected, and ready to brave the day.

You can expect a fun variety of snacks, curriculum, fellowship, prayer and devotions, crafts, playdates, and outside events.

Yearly dues are $60 for Valley MOPS, $30 for childcare, and $35 for MOPS International membership. For your convenience, you may pay for the entire year or one semester at a time.

Valley MOPS and MOPS International dues with no childcare – 1 semester $65
Valley MOPS and MOPS International dues with no childcare – 2 semesters $95
Valley MOPS and MOPS International dues with childcare – 1 semester $80
