There’s a seat at God’s table for people you’d never expect—including people who wonder if they’ve
blown their chance. But Jesus also has a warning for those who are certain their place is reserved. In Luke 13,
surprising hope meets uncomfortable honesty. The door is narrow, but Jesus isn’t standing there saying, “Stay
out.” He’s calling, “Get in here!” The invitation is too good to ignore and too important to leave for someday.
