Over 10 sessions, discover how God orchestrates everything for His glory and the good of His people, and see how the God of creation and covenant is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Fridays: Kings and Prophets – God Searches for a Heart Fully His
By Kay Arthur and Precept Ministries

Hosted by Suzanne Lemon

Neither Solomon, his son Rehoboam, nor his son Abijam followed God fully, nor did Jeroboam in Israel. Their hearts were divided. Would God ever find anyone to serve Him like David? Would He ever find one whose heart was fully His? God says that we are to love Him with all of our heart. Is that really possible? This course seeks the answer.

Dates: Friday, November 12 – December 17
Where: North Point (Valley Church, lower level) with an online option
Cost: Please purchase your own study guide
Study Format: Homework, Reading, Discussion and Prayer

Women's Ministry Mentoring

September 2021 – April 2022

Are you a woman who desires to grow in faith? Are you teachable and eager to learn from a more experienced follower of Christ? Then take a look at Valley Mentoring!

A mentor is someone with a little more experience who comes alongside another and points her to Jesus. We would love to line YOU up with a Valley Church mentor. Mentors and mentees meet every two to three weeks from October through April. Your mentor is here to love, listen, encourage, and pray with you.

Here is what one of the mentees shared about her experience.
“I feel I have a new friend in my mentor. I know I could come to her with any question, concern or prayer request, and she would be there for me. She has also been very open as she has walked through preparing to send a son to college this fall, and transitioning family members from living at home to assisted living. It has been beneficial to watch her navigate the processes as I believe both will be in my future.”

MOPS has given me a great opportunity to build relationships with other moms in the same season of life. Together we’re able to navigate young motherhood, marriage, and following Jesus in a fun setting.

Lindsay Morris

Valley Women’s Ministry has provided me great opportunities to connect, grow and lead. My second week at Valley, I was invited to a Bible Study and out of that study came many of my best friends!

Val Bantz

When we do Bible study together, the layering of shared life experiences and practical application that my sisters in Christ bring to the table enriches my perspective and understanding. It strengthens and encourages my faith.

We believe that it’s just as important for moms to grow as it is to take care of our little ones. Therefore, MOPS exists to serve you and your kids. While your children play and learn in the care and safety of our on-site MOPS KIDS program, MOPS moms meet to socialize, hear from speakers, engage in creative activities and small group discussion, and share in a kid-uninterrupted breakfast and coffee break. Our hope is that you walk away refreshed, inspired, connected, and ready to brave the day.

You can expect a fun variety of snacks, curriculum, fellowship, prayer and devotions, crafts, playdates, and outside events.

The cost is $60 for moms without childcare and $90 with childcare. You may pay one semester at a time or for both semesters now:
Mom with no childcare (1 semester) – $30
Mom with no childcare (2 semesters) – $60
Mom with childcare (1 semester) – $45
Mom with childcare (2 semesters) – $90

We are excited to welcome new moms into our group for next year. For more information about MOPS or information regarding scholarships please contact Lauren Pawol at 480-298-9973 email Lauren.

Need some encouragement in your life from a woman who has “been there, done that”? Someone who can bring some hope, humor and Biblical wisdom to your current season? Could you use a listening ear and someone to share friendship with and pray with you? We’re happy to match you with a mentor!

We currently have about 30 pairs of women meeting on a regular basis.  Some pairs are just beginning, while others have been together for three years. All were mutually encouraged and blessed through these multi-generational friendships.
