Women's Bible Studies – Fall 2024

Fall Bible Study

The Son of David

“Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10)
What kind of king and what kind of kingdom are we asking for when we pray this prayer Jesus taught us to pray? A study of the Old Testament historical books – Joshua through Esther – enables us to see the kingdom of God not only as it once was, but also as it is now, and as it will be one day.

Romans Part 2 – Freed from Sin's Penalty

All have sinned. There is none righteous. We are declared righteous by God only by faith in the blood of His Son. Free from the guilt and power of sin, but what about the flesh? Discover how justification by faith relates to day by day living through the Holy Spirit’s power—the amazing process of sanctification (Romans 6–8)

Session includes: Homework, Reading, Discussion and Prayer. Participants do not need to have done Part 1 with us in order to join us for Part 2.

Fridays, September 6-December 13

MOPS has given me a great opportunity to build relationships with other moms in the same season of life. Together we’re able to navigate young motherhood, marriage, and following Jesus in a fun setting.

Lindsay Morris

Valley Women’s Ministry has provided me great opportunities to connect, grow and lead. My second week at Valley, I was invited to a Bible Study and out of that study came many of my best friends!

Val Bantz

When we do Bible study together, the layering of shared life experiences and practical application that my sisters in Christ bring to the table enriches my perspective and understanding. It strengthens and encourages my faith.

The MOMCo (previously known as MOPS)

9:30–11:30 am · Two Fridays per month

September 2024–May 2025

We believe that it’s just as important for moms to grow as it is to take care of our little ones. Therefore, MOMCo exists to serve you and your kids. While your children play and learn in the care and safety of our on-site MOMCo KIDS program, MOMCo moms meet to socialize, hear from speakers, engage in creative activities and small group discussion, and share in a kid-uninterrupted breakfast and coffee break. Our hope is that you walk away refreshed, inspired, connected, and ready to brave the day.
You can expect a fun variety of snacks, curriculum, fellowship, prayer and devotions, crafts, playdates, and outside events.

Yearly dues are $60 for Valley MOMCo, $30 for childcare, and $37 The MOMCo International membership. For your convenience, you may pay for the entire year or one semester at a time.

Valley MOMCo and MOMCo International dues with no childcare – 1 semester $67
Valley MOMCo and MOMCo International dues with no childcare – 2 semesters $97
Valley MOMCo and MOMCo International dues with childcare – 1 semester $82
Valley MOMCo and MOMCo International dues with childcare – 2 semesters $127

We are excited to welcome new moms into our group for next year. Please contact The MOMCo leaders with any questions.

Ladies In Faith and Truth Together (LIFTT)
Hebrews 10:24-25 “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

LIFTT is a group for all moms who have children in kindergarten through 12th grade. It is a place for connecting, developing relationships, and supporting one another in all stages of school life. We have times of gathering, listening to speakers, tours of local ministries, and participating in service projects where we can get to know each other and our community better. We want to grow as women who love Jesus and love our children and families while cultivating relationships with each other. For more information, email Jaclyn.
