Summer Women’s Bible Study: You Are a Theologian
June 8—July 30
An invitation to know and love God well
The goal of theology is knowing and loving God well. This is a lifelong endeavor, a never-ending pursuit, not for the sake of knowledge, but for an ever-deepening relationship with God Himself. Authors Jen Wilkin and J. T. English invite you to become not merely a consumer of theology, but a contributor to the conversation, and to grow in faithfulness to the Great Commission’s call to make disciples.
Join us this summer as we learn about God together during this six-week book study. Participants will read a chapter or two per week, then discuss the reading, enjoy fellowship and pray together in small and/or large group time.

Sermon on the Mount (9 weeks)
The Sermon on the Mount contains some of the most familiar and treasured passages in all of scripture—from the Lord’s Prayer and the Beatitudes to Jesus’ gentle yet profound teachings on money, ambition, and relationships. While we often encounter these verses in fragments, treating them as separate lessons, what if we navigated these three chapters in Matthew exactly as they were originally heard?
Join us for this 9-session study as we walk verse by verse through Jesus’ teaching, reading them as one cohesive message. Together, we will be challenged to think differently about what it means to faithfully and obediently follow Jesus.

Mentoring
Valley Mentoring (Men’s and Women’s) is expanding and we need your help! We are looking for a limited number of mentors and mentees to help us prepare for a full launch in January. We would like to talk to:
- Mentoring pairs currently meeting regularly.
- Interested mentors, with or without previous experience.
- Mentees who desire to learn from one who has “been there.”
If you are currently part of any of those groups—or would like to be part of one—contact our mentoring team. If you already know you want to be a mentor and or a mentee, please contact our team as well.
