Walmart Grocery
Order your groceries online and pick up at both West Des Moines locations and the Grimes, Ankeny, Altoona, and Indianola locations. This is a free service with a minimum of $30 purchase.

Currently Walmart only schedules pick ups for the next 2 days and frequently all appointments are taken.

Tip: Select all your groceries and add to your cart. Then go online early (5-6 am) to schedule your pick up before all the appointments are taken.

Hy-Vee Aisles Online

Order your groceries online and pick up at a participating Hy-Vee near you. This is a free service with a minimum $30 purchase.

As of March 22, scheduled pick ups are six days out.

Walmart
Delivery – Free 15 day trial. Then $98 annually or $12.95 per month

Hy-Vee Delivery
Delivery – $9.95 with a minimum $30 purchase

Instacart
Delivery – Free 14 day trial.

Instacart Express costs $99 a year, which includes free 1- and 2-hour grocery delivery (when available) with a minimum purchase of $35. Service fees may still apply, and this cost also doesn’t include the optional tips for the shopper/driver.

The Monthly Express membership is $9.99. Groceries can be delivered from Aldi, Costco, CVS, Sam’s Club, Fresh Thyme, Hy-Vee and Target.

Walgreens

Prescription Delivery: If you have prescriptions with Walgreens, you can order them online to be delivered to your home.

CVS

Contact individual store for pharmacy hours as they vary. (None are open 24 hours.)

FREE Prescription Delivery Offer: Free 1 to 2 day Rx shipping for orders made from now-May 1, 2020.

At this time, most banks have closed their lobbies. (Access is available at some with appointment only).

In-store dining is closed, but many restaurants still have options for indoor pick up, curbside pick up, and/or delivery. Check online or call your favorite restaurant to see what options are available and hours of operation.
