Valley Church believes that God has a ministry and a purpose for everyone, no matter their stage of life.

We provide events and activities for those who are 60+ that encourage Christ-centered community and fellowship.

Join an energetic group of empty nesters sharing God’s word, caring for one another, and praying for their families. We should not be content to let life pass us by, so come and join in on the fun and fellowship.

Rendezvous

Join this community of empty nesters with a focus on understanding God’s word and its application to our daily lives. Prayer and fellowship are core elements of Rendezvous.

Celebrate the joys of grandparenthood with us! This group provides a listening ear for one another, studies God’s Word together, prays for each other, and provides support when needed. This group meets for an hour and a quarter plus time for lunch. Singles and couples are both welcome.

Saints Alive

Join us for this monthly gathering of great fellowship and entertainment! We enjoy a meal together and intentionally connect with others.

May 5–11, 2024

Holland, Michigan

On May 5–11, 2024, we will be attending the largest tulip festival in the United States in Holland, Michigan.
This six and a half day trip includes six nights of accommodations, nine meals, top rated (4.5/5 ⭐️) motor coach transportation and hotels, and all events and activities listed below. Sunday night we will stay at the Holiday Inn in Rock Island, Illinois. Monday–Thursday nights at the brand new Home2 Suites by Hilton just east of Holland, MI and Friday night at the newly renovated Holiday Inn Express in Naperville, Ill.

Here are some of the events and activities scheduled at this time:

Day 1: Sunday night—Jersey Boys Dinner Theatre Show in Rock Island, IL.

Day 2: Monday—Travel day—arrive for check in at the brand new Home2 Suites just outside Holland MI. This will be our home away from home for four consecutive nights (Monday–Thursday).

Days 3–5: Tuesday–Thursday—Windmill Island Gardens, Holland, MI Tulip Time Festival, Dutch Village, Evergreen Commons for Dutch lunch and dance performance by the Dutch Dancers of Holland, Tulip Immersion Garden at Holland State Park, Lake Michigan’s “Big Red” Lighthouse, Tulip Time step on guide Tour of Holland, MI, Gentex Kinder Parade (reserved grandstand seating), downtown Holland shops, and group dinner followed by The Texas Tenors concert.

Day 6: Friday—Travel day—arrive in Chicago for lunch at Portillo’s near the Navy Pier where we meet our step-on guide for a tour of the City of Chicago. Later we check into the Holiday Inn Express in Naperville, IL and enjoy supper in downtown Naperville.

Day 7: Saturday—a relaxing drive home

Costs:
Double occupancy—$1259.00 per person
Single occupancy—$1669.00 per person
$500 per person due at registration for all travelers
