We have options for giving to our partners, short-term teams, and individuals seeking support for our short-term trips.
Nivelles – May 2024
Valley has partnered with brothers & sisters in Christ in Nivelles Belgium, a bedroom community outside of Brussels. This team will assist the LePhare Church with the renovation of a facility that will be their first permanent facility, after years of renting in another community. The team will support Valley partners Olivier & Karin Jonkers.
Honduras – June 2024
Valley has worked with WGO for years doing a medical brigade with multiple churches in Tegucigalpa. You do not have to have medical skills, though medical professionals are greatly welcomed in the team. If willing to service, you can be a great resource on the team. If you have a Compassion sponsored child in Honduras, there is also the potential opportunity to meet with them during the week.
Belgium – July 2024
Serve the Church, alongside our mission partner Olivier Jonkers, has been a Valley trip for 14 years. There are opportunities for construction, VBS, neighborhood outreach and encouragement. During the 10 days, you will better understand how they creatively represent Christ within diverse communities, and will probably be more blessed than you can imagine
Alaska – July 2024
Echo Ranch Bible Camp in Juneau Alaska is in need of all kinds of workers for the camp, as they have a shorter season being in Alaska. There are different types of construction projects, but a need for skilled mechanics, electricians, and painters. They have kids that come from up to 12 to 24 hours away by plane, ferry, or car. This camp has an incredible spot in the community to share the Gospel.
All gifts go towards the individual’s trip account, or the overall team if selected. Should an individual receive donations in excess of the actual costs for this trip, the excess will be used for others on the trip. If this person is unable to go on the trip, your donation will be used towards the overall cost of the trip. If all donations received for this trip exceed the actual cost of the trip, the excess will be used for other Valley Church trips.
