You Belong
Life Groups at Valley are a place where you can experience genuine community. It’s the primary way you can make new friends, grow deeper in your spiritual journey, and use your spiritual gifts. Don’t worry about fitting in. We come from various backgrounds, have different experiences, and are from multiple generations; yet we embrace our differences and live out God’s Word together. Our life groups are centered around four themes creating a more holistic experience: share, study, support, and serve.

Weekday Groups
Spring 2019 Session Dates
March 24, 2019 – May 26, 2019 / (9 weeks)
- Meet weekday evenings for an hour and a half
- Three 9-11 week sessions (September – May)
- Organized around station in life and common interests
- Interactive Bible discussion (complementary to sermon)
- 10-16 people that function as “small churches” within the larger church body
- Social activities and service opportunities
- Attenders responsible for childcare (some groups offer childcare)
- Trained leader (and host) leads each group
- Includes Saturday & Sunday night groups
Sunday Groups
- Meet on Sunday mornings for about an hour
- 20-40 people that function as “small churches” within the larger church body
- Organized around station in life
- Interactive Bible teaching—(complementary to sermon)
- Social activities and service opportunities
- Children’s programming is available for birth – high school at the 9:30am hour
Special Groups
These groups are centered around specific topics.
Monday evenings · January 14 - April 1
Dinner at 6:00pm · Program at 6:30pm
Alpha is a space to explore life’s big questions, to say what you think, and to hear other people’s points of view.
The eleven week series explores the Christian faith. Each session’s talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is held at Valley Church and all around the globe. Everyone is welcome.

Do you have questions and doubts about God and faith? Are you exploring Christianity?
If so, check out a Spiritual Discovery Group (SDG)! These 1-hour, informal, small group gatherings are designed to provide a safe place for people to explore at their own pace, express their thoughts and feelings openly, voice their observations and questions honestly, or just listen to others share. Come one time, or come as often as you’d like!

Starts Fall 2019
Do you want to learn how to manage your money God’s way?
Financial Peace University will help you take control of your money, plan for your future, and transform your life in nine weeks. This class is based on biblical principles and discusses budgets, investing and retirement, mortgages, and real estate, and college planning.
Wednesdays · 6:30pm
Find hope and healing during our group sessions.
This support group lasts 13 weeks long and is for those who are going through the pain and trauma of divorce or separation.
