Kindergarten-5th Grade Visitor Check-In

Starting at 6:15 pm, Parents and children can check in at the Welcome Desk located just inside the main entrance at the church building. During check-in, fill out an emergency card with name, phone number and email, and pick up your child’s name tag. Volunteers are available to guide you to the meeting spot for your child’s age group.

Pick up is at 7:30 pm, and in most cases your child will be waiting for you in the same room where you dropped off.

What happens at the K-5th grade program?

Each week includes a large group Bible teaching time, games, Bible-focused small group activities, and discussion. The entire night is centered on kids connecting in a small group with other kids and led by a small group leader. Our programming is divided into three age-specific groups: Kindergarten-2nd grade, 3rd-4th grade, and 5th grade.

6th-8th Grade Visitor Check-In

Parents do not need to accompany 6th-8th grade visitors inside the Valley Community Center. Visitors are welcome to either meet up with their friend who invited them before coming inside, or just come inside on their own. Visitors should go to the Welcome Table right inside the main entrance, which will be marked with lots of bright balloons.

What happens at the 6-8th grade program?

Each week includes a game, worshipping God through singing, a large group Bible lesson, and small group meeting time. Our middle school program is a great opportunity for your kids to meet friends, build relationships, and learn how to be a follower of Jesus.

Safety

At Valley Church, your child’s safety is of utmost importance. All of our volunteers are trained and screened. Our younger children (2nd grade and under) must be checked in and out by a parent or other responsible person through a computerized check-in, name tag system.
